Hammers and Nails

For this project, my tool was a screwdriver drill bit. I have both a Philips and square bit but mostly utilized the Philips bit. I did not have much intention behind my letters other than using the side of my bit to make the forms. As you see throughout the book, my letter forms are not completely solid and has a bunch of splatters and rough jagged marks. I wanted my letterforms to be rough around the edges and not perfect whatsoever. When making my marks, I did about 3-5 strokes per letterform to get the shape of each letter and only drew out each letter twice. In a small publication, I showcase my letterforms in words and patterns. Enjoy!
