For this project, instead of taking photos and looking for letterforms, I went through my camera roll to fi nd any of my past photos that I thing would work pretty well. After fi nding photos that were taken at the Wright Auction House here in Chicago, I decided that I wanted to create my alphabet out of pre-existing design works. To take an already existing work of art and deconstructing it into something completely different. My alphabet presents two works created by Tony (Bernard) Rosenthol, an American abstract sculptor who specializes in monumental public art sculptures. These two pieces are currently held for auction at the Wright Auction House.
